Sophie Fenwick - New York Waterfront Diary

delpire & co is pleased to welcome the Franco-American artist for the presentation and signing of her book, published by Five Continents Editions.
The two hundred photographs, taken in a wide variety of formats and drawn from the artist’s archives spanning several decades, show us both abandoned places and others, such as Coney Island and Red Hook, whose vitality seems unalterable. They also convey a personal, interior journey, thanks to the counterpoint provided by the poems Sophie Fenwick wrote in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The presentation will be followed by a discussion between the artist and Charlotte Flossaut.
