Ukraine - Fragments 02-2022 / 02-2023

On February 24, 2022, more than 40 million Ukrainians were plunged into a reality that we can only grasp through reports and personal accounts.

Since that date, six photographers from the MYOP agency have regularly made the journey to give us a glimpse of what’s happening at the heart of the European continent. Whether they go close to the front line or choose to share the lives of civilians, each in his or her own way tries to capture the everyday life of a people, to show us the life that goes on despite threat and anxiety, despite fragility and death.

The portraits, situations and landscapes gathered in this book are fragments that make up a discreet and moving account of a year of war.
