The sixth volume in Jack Pierson’s acclaimed artist book series: a loose collage of iconographic materials and contemporary artists’ work, Tomorrow’s Man presents an exploded vision of today’s visual landscape, draped in vintage and glamorous homoeroticism.

Continuing the momentum of previous editions, this book features a diverse collection of work by some of Pierson’s favorite artists, such as Cameron Jamie’s ceramics, Clement PJ Schneider’s nude studies, Danny McDonald’s pop-inspired sculptures, as well as images by Matthew Bede Murphy, Michael Bilsborough, Agustin Bruno, Jeremy Deprez, Eliza Douglas, Robert Escalera, Mark Flood, Quinn Gorbutt, Mended Veil, Nathan Morgan, Nehama, Kembra Pfahler, and Niv Shank. This volume is complemented by images and documents by Pierson, as well as a full script by Chico Kramer.

The title, Tomorrow’s Man, comes from an infamous bodybuilding magazine from the 1950s and ‘60s. Reappropriating the publication’s title as well as its retro bodybuilding aesthetic, Pierson takes viewers on a dizzying visual journey encompassing the full spectrum of cultural references.
