Slightly Out of Focus brings Robert Capa’s World War II texts and photographs together for a perilous journey across Europe and beyond, from London to the beaches of the D-Day landing, from Italy to North Africa, from newly liberated Paris to Germany in the final days of the conflict. This book, marked by the violence and horror of the fighting reveals a different side of Capa, allowing us to see his photojournalistic work in a new light. He is not an observer of the war; he is living the war.
