Safe Travel

Safe Travel is a postcard book published on the occasion of the artist’s first solo exhibition at the Justine Kurland Studio in New York. It contains all the works in the exhibition, a travel souvenir of the show.

Eleonore’s chimerical explorations – her form meeting the machine, the flower, the lion, the dog, the mountain, the phoenix and the tree – testify to the great liberating potential of multiplicity, which, in this case, emerges from the very literal trauma of her cancer. Mastectomie au soleil (2023) is the culmination of Eléonore’s shape-shifting: her metallic-toned body is still fleshy, but it is in the process of disintegrating, unraveling and becoming.” – Marina Chao
