Poster Photo Magazine is printed twice a year on offset and gloss coated paper. Each issue showcases the work of twelve photographers on themes that are typical of the periodical press: sport, fashion, cars, travel, beauty, animals, architecture, cinema, history…. This eclectic exploration of approaches to modern and contemporary photography is based on a simple principle: its composition in twelve 50 × 68 cm wall posters, folded and detachable.

The magazine takes a cross-disciplinary approach to photography. Its field of vision honours the work of iconic photographers and includes the talent of the new generation; the approach of iconographic artists comes face to face with recent photo-realistic production tools. Poster Photo Magazine is as much a tool for viewing as it is for critiquing, for publishing as it is for curating, for collecting as it is for decorating, for making aesthetics more accessible than they are sacred.
Never before have images been so destined to spread beyond their pages, to be pierced with four pins (not included), to take over our walls and strike our retinas with the full force of their resolution. By profaning the cross fold, the recipients are returning to the origins of the genre, the posters inserted in popular publications: football, music, motorbikes or ponies, often aimed at young people who thus appropriated the figure of their totems.

12 folded posters by 12 photographers :

Julia Andréone, Area of Work, Roman Cieslewicz, Stig De Block, Thomas Demand, Marie Deteneuille, Aurélien Froment, Antonio Masotti, Simon Menner, Marie Quéau, Kuba Ryniewicz, Deborah Turbeville
