Odds and Ends

Odds and Ends is an investigation that began on February 13, 2013 in Châteauroux and ends on November 18, 2018 in Kourou. It has for subject the end as a process at work in what surrounds us, and draws the portrait of a smoking Earth, abandoned. I chose to travel through territories and places that could be the vectors of my anxiety about the future. I often approach this work as an obituary of our planet, evoking its accidents and its slow collapse. This investigation functions by rebounds, one place calling for another. For five years, wind, earth and fire have guided me in the construction of this fatal fable. Time is deliberately suspended to muffle life. This series is for me a poem without men.
