Nival

“The adjective nival is used to describe anything to do with snow. This book brings together a corpus of photographs taken by Samuel Hoppe between 2019 and 2023. Defined according to isolated territories and moments, these images are interwoven in a sequenced and repetitive manner. Nival will be a manifestly austere and radical book, built and reinforced by a monochrome treatment applied to the entire publication.”
