Naturalis Historia

Published on the occasion of Pauline Julier’s “Naturalis Historia” exhibition at the Swiss Cultural Centre. Paris (09.09 – 17.12.2017)

Naturalis Historia is a project by Pauline Julier, the result of an ambitious research on the history of nature. Driven by an encyclopaedic approach to the subject, the artist weaves a multitude of narratives drawing on the arts and sciences, which she deploys through three media: an exhibition (at the CCS from 9 September to 17 December 2017), a book and a film.
