Most of Mathieu Gargam’s work is made up of images: found materials, mothballed, anonymous. He then articulates them according to sets, formal or thematic affinities (rational or imagined), and he manipulates them, assembles them, “glues” them on various supports: simple projection, digital collage, printing, or reprinting, often for magazines and personal publications.
