HR Giger

This large-format book offers a never-before-seen glimpse into HR Giger’s world of biomechanical sculptures, airbrush paintings, alien furniture, objects, prints and self-portraits. Having been granted exclusive access to the artist’s home and studio in Zurich, French photographer Camille Vivier worked there alone with a few models for a series of photo shoots. In addition to images of the studio and life-size sculptures, Vivier documented some one hundred objects and works of art. In a brief text, the photographer also discusses her enduring fascination with Giger’s art.
