From his archaeological studies in Russia before entering the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, we find in Andrei Pavlov’s work a taste for drawing and photography as archival traces. Residues, a more or less vivid memory of a political, religious, social or even architectural history. For Andreï Pavlov also studied architecture in France.
