The book features a selection of 100 photographic masterpieces from the Pinault Collection, from the 19th century to the present day.

Since 2006, photography has played an important role in the Pinault Collection. From Gustave Le Gray to Cindy Sherman, from Irving Penn to Wolfgang Tillmans, via Raymond Depardon and Lee Miller, successive exhibitions have built up a body of reference work in the field, from the 19th century to the present day. Both historical and contemporary, the Collection reflects the richness and diversity of the photographic medium.
