The first monograph in French devoted to the photography of the 1950s and 1960s by the Luxembourg artist Romain Urhausen. His work is distinguished by its singular style between the French humanist school and the German subjective school of which he was one of the most active representatives. We discover graphic works, often captured using experimental techniques, as well as his famous series on Les Halles, originally published in 1963 and accompanied by a text by Jacques Prévert.
