Jeano Edwards is a Jamaican-born photographer and filmmaker whose work thoughtfully explores themes of identity, belonging, and the layered concept of home. After relocating to the United States at sixteen, Edwards developed a practice shaped by distance and return – a perspective further informed by his Master’s studies at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Working across photography and film, Edwards constructs visual narratives grounded in memory, landscape, and cultural nuance. His film and the accompanying book In the Dark, the Tides Shine Bright continue this exploration, offering a meditative look at longing and return through nightscapes and sound.
