FLORENCE MIAILHE, LA TRAVERSÉE AT LA LIBRAIRIE DU PALAIS

delpire & co is pleased to announce that the selection of paintings on paper by Florence Miailhe, exhibited at the bookshop on the occasion of the publication of La Traversée, will be proposed by the Librairie du Palais, as part of the second edition of the Festival du dessin in Arles.

La Traversée, a stunning sketchbook published by delpire & co, shows a selection of 147 paintings and sketches from Florence Miailhe’s unpublished work, created for the eponymous film. Inspired by her own family’s history, Marie Desplechin tells the initiatory journey of two teenagers, Kyona and Adriel, who were forced to flee their home country.
