delpire & co is pleased to publish Vibrations by Henri Foucault.
The artist offers a powerful and poetic interpretation of the mythical gardens of Giverny, using the ancient process of the photogram, at the heart of his photographic practice. Foucault, the “sculptor-photographer”, magnifies the aquatic plants of Claude Monet’s beloved water feature in this book-object conceived as a herbarium.
We invite you to the bookstore on Saturday, May 21 for the presentation of the book, in the presence of the artist. A series of photograms by the artist, all pièces uniques, will be exhibited, as well as a selection of books on the contemporary representation of plants.
Free entrance, at 13 rue de l’Abbaye, from 6pm.
