Born in Italy to Canadian and Dutch parents, Paolo Woods has been conducting large-scale projects for many years that combine photography and texts. His work with a strong political and social dimension takes the form of surveys around the world and has been the subject of publications in the international press, exhibitions, in particular at the Rencontres d’Arles in 2016 and six books of photographs, in particular État (Photosynthèses editions, 2013) Les Paradis (Delpire, 2016) and Happy Pills (delpire & co, 2021).
