For the past twenty years, Aurélien Froment has been developing a body of work based on concrete utopias and biographies situated on the margins of history. This research takes shape through the production of image installations and films. His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions, including Rencontres d’Arles (2023), Institut pour la photographie in Lille (2021), Musée M Leuven (2017), Abattoirs, Musée – Frac Occitanie Toulouse (2016), Frac Île-de-France / Le Plateau (2014), as well as the Dakar Biennale (2016), Sydney Biennale (2014), Venice Biennale (2013) and Gwangju Biennale (2010).
He lives in Edinburgh, where he teaches at the Edinburgh College of Art.
