Exhibition opening and book launch on Thursday 03 April at 6pm at the bookshop.
The exhibition, which accompanies the release of the book published by delpire & co, features ten prints by Rinko Kawauchi, some of which have never been seen before, produced exclusively for the exhibition by the bookshop.
Japanese photographer Rinko Kawauchi, renowned for her images in soft, luminous colours, strives to reveal the mystery, fragility and strength of life in all its forms. In M/E, she presents a dialogue between images from Iceland and Japan, focusing mainly on water: clouds, rain, rainbows, ice, snow, torrents and mist. The photographer seeks out the ephemeral, capturing the fleeting moment that precedes the eye’s accommodation.
