This volume is dedicated to the extraordinary figure of Inge Morath (1923-2002), an Austrian photographer and the first photojournalist to join the famous Magnum Photos agency in 1953. In 1955 she published her first collection of photographs, and by the end of her career there were 30 monographs.

The publication brings together and chronicles her work, which before anything else is a testimony to a passion and a necessity toward photography. A relationship that matured over the years through experiences and encounters, as well as an integral part of the life of a woman who managed, with courage and determination, to assert herself in a discipline that at the time was predominantly male.
