This visual ‘Dialogue’ between Yohji Yamamoto and Sarah Moon is an exceptional book designed by the two artists. Under a minimalist black cover, it presents 45 photographs, most of them previously unpublished.
Sarah Moon develops her personal work around three themes: the evanescence of beauty, the uncertain and the passage of time. Fashion, but also nature and myths, feature prominently in her images, which are always shrouded in her signature blur.Particularly famous for her Polaroids, halftone photographs and effaced faces, Sarah Moon has published a number of books, including Vrais semblants, Coïncidences and 1.2.3.4.5, which won the Nadar prize. Sarah Moon has won numerous awards for her work, and her work is exhibited and recognised throughout the world.In 2021, the Musée d’art moderne de Paris presented ‘PasséPrésent’, a retrospective of her work.
