Designed exclusively for the bookshop on the occasion of the BOOKS AND BOOKENDS exhibition, this bookend was handcrafted from lifejacket covers, azobe wood and steel.

Laissez Passer, an association under the French law of 1901, is a collective of young craftsmen, architects and designers who combine their know-how in the service of an ideal: the valorization of material waste from the industrial port of Marseille (GPMM). The workshop creates projects combining craftsmanship and upcycling for private individuals, local authorities and artistic initiatives.
