Diplopia

In Diplopia, Maéva Sanz shows us a reinvented reality. Using her camera and a spyglass, she frames, reframes and overlays shots to create new images outside of reality. It is at the intersection of these two values of plan, that of the camera and the other of the binocular, that a third place, hidden to the glance of the passers-by, is born in gradations of light.

Maéva invites us to renew our perception of reality, and reveals in color and black and white a poetic vision of the city and its inhabitants.
